The draw for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 was held on Monday in Nyon, Switzerland, setting up interesting ties when the competition resumes in February 2024.
After topping Group B on their return to Europe’s elite in seven years, Arsenal were drawn against Portuguese side FC Porto, while the defending champions Manchester City got the pick of the bunch, FC Copenhagen.
Last year’s quarterfinalists and Italian champions Napoli were drawn against their Spanish counterparts, FC Barcelona while Inter Milan will face Atletico Madrid in an intriguing clash.
Paris Saint Germain needed results elsewhere to go in their favour to make it out of Group F but will need better performances over both legs against Real Sociedad as PSV Eindhoven will fancy their chances against Borussia Dortmund.
German champions Bayern Munich will travel to Stadio Olimpico to face SS Lazio in the first leg while 14-time champions face a tricky tie in RB Leipzig.
The Round of 16 will be played over four weeks with the first legs on February 13-14 and February 20-21 while the return legs will be played on March 5-6 and March 12-13.
