Fresh five thousand three hundred and forty eight beneficiaries set for empowerment under NG – CARES in Kwara

The Kwara state covid 19 action recoveries and economic stimulus NG-CARES with labour intensive public workfare delivery platform under the ministry of environment has said another batch of five thousand three hundred and forty eight beneficiaries from over seven hundred communities across the sixteen local governments from kwara will benefit from NG – CARES.

The technical head of labour intensive public workfare delivery platform,, NG care , Alhaji shamsideen Aregbe  disclosed this at the Refresher training on the implementation of labour intensive public workfare  of covid 19 action recovery and economic stimulus NG-CARES ) programme for community development officer from the 16 local government and staff of the labour intensive public workfare delivery platform.

As reported by Our senior correspondent olarotimi oshin , the technical head of NG CARES said the programme is designed to refresh the minds of the critical stakeholders in implementation of the labour intensive public workfare delivery platform of the Nigeria care programme.

 

He also said the programme is designed to provide employment opportunity in social sectors, to address the emergency constraints of loss of labour income among poor and vulnerable households as a result of the COVID -19 pandemic. 

 According to him, the programme is targeting the vulnerable households, age between eighteen and forty five years who must possess educational qualification of senior secondary certificate of education or blow.
