Sequel to the student loan bill that was passed into law by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu recently, which allows students to take a loan from the federal government for tuition fee with no interest, Residents of Kwara state share their opinion on the development.

Reacting to the development, Mr Isiaka Opeyemi a civil servant appreciated the government saying it a welcome development but said that the federal government should have look for a way to reduce the Tuition fees of federal and state institutions so that everybody can have access to education.

As reported by RoyalFm correspondent Opeyemi Akeredolu a beautician known as Kazeem Rofiyat said due to the beneficiary requirements, most indigent people might not have access to the loan.

However, Miss Odenusi Hannah, an assistant lecturer in the Kwara state polytechnic expressed that it is a welcome development and indulges the government to monitor the process so that it will not lead to another source of corruption.
