Religion leaders beseech to participate in politics

A call has gone to Religion leaders to participate meanifully in policy making as these will help sanitize the political System of the country.

The call was made on a News and Current affairs program “Oro ton lo” on Royal FM that featured both the Christian and Islamic Leaders on the roles of Religion leaders in policy making and their involvement in politics.

On his part, prophet Doctor Ejire Adetoro JP said the involvement of Religious  leaders in politics and decision making can never be over emphasized hence the call for their participation into the system.

Dr Imam Abdulraheem As -Surur who also supported the call stressed that the inadequacy in governance and policy making in the country necessitated the call for Religious leaders to involve themselves in politics.
