The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, has temporarily shut down churches, hotels, bars and other establishments in several areas of the state over alleged noise pollution.
The affected areas include Ifako-Ijaiye, Abesan Estate, Abule-Egba, Alagbado, Command and Dopemu.
The state Commissioner of the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, posted this on his social media handle on Friday.
The statement said the establishments were temporarily closed to “compel compliance with environmental regulations.
