Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Charges Officials To Show Commitment In Discharging Duties

The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Kwara Command, Umar Mohammed has charged officers and men at Tanke Division to be more committed and professional in discharging their duties to justify the trust imposed on NSCDC by the community.

Commandant Umar who stated this during a visit to the Alangua of Tanke community, Alhaji Umar Salaudeen today said he visited the community due to its significance, size, presence of the University of Ilorin students and other notable organizations.

He added that such institutions often bring unique security challenges, making it essential for law enforcement officials to take a keen interest in ensuring the safety of lives and properties in the community.

Commandant Umar, however, appreciated the Alangua for his unflinching support and dedication in ensuring that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps reaches and maintains its esteemed position in Nigeria’s security architecture.

He further stressed that the collaboration between community leaders and security agencies is crucial for the safety and stability of communities and the nation.
