2023 Polls: NOA steps up Voter Education in Kwara

In continuation of its Voter Education efforts, the National Orientation Agency, (NOA) Kwara State has embarked on a Statewide motorized campaign to remind the citizens of the need to participate fully in the second leg of the 2023 general elections.

In his address during the State Headquarters campaign on Thursday, Olusegun Adeyemi, NOA Kwara State adviced electorates to excercise their civic right by participating fully in the gubernatorial and state Assembly Elections.

While engaging resident and people of Kwara via one on one discussions and distribution of flyers, Adeyemi urged Nigerians to shun all forms of electoral violence, avoid vote buying and embrace peace before, during and after elections.

The National Orientation Agency staff also appealed to the conscience of Nigerians not to sell their votes, but to elect candidates based on credibility and their conviction.

In Ilorin, the campaign train went round major public places where flyers and posters were distributed and voters.

Furthermore, the voter education exercise was also carried out in the 16 Local Government Areas where locals were reminded about their rights and duties.
