Don’t leave Nigeria, we will overcome – Peter Obi begs youths, prepare for legal battle

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 presidential election has urged Nigerian youths not to leave the country in search of greener pastures.

Daily  POST reports that shortly after Bola Tinubu was declared winner of Saturday’s presidential election, some Nigerian youths expressed interest in leaving the country. When asked for his advice to youths who are demoralized and intend to leave, Peter Obi, while addressing the nation, said: “I see people telling me they want to leave the country―stay in Nigeria. I will stay with you.”

Obi assured Nigerian youths that the Labour Party will overcome and reclaim its mandate.

Meanwhile, The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Thursday, broke his silence on the outcome of last Saturday’s presidential election, claiming that the exercise was marred by irregularities.

The former Anambra State governor who addressed a world press conference in Abuja claimed that the process that produced Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress as president-elect was “programmed for determined results.
