Tinubu meets Kwankwaso on peace talk in France
President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has met with the presidential candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso on a peace talk.
Vanguard gathered that the duo met for hours in Paris, capital of France, on Monday.Recall that Kwankwaso came fourth in the 2023 presidentil election.
The NNPP presidential candidate won only Kano tate, a stronghold of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to reports, Tinubu reportedly told Kwankwaso to reach out to his political associates on the need to work together.
The President-elect and his guest were said to have agreed to hold subsequent meetings.
