Presidential Tribunal: Atiku’s Aide, Kenneth Okonkwo Mocks INEC Over Unreadiness To Defend Case

Daniel Bwala, a media aide to the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has mocked the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for failing to open its defence.

INEC had failed to open its defence at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal after 10 days’ break. This was due to the absence of witnesses for the electoral body at the tribunal.

In his reaction, Kenneth Okonkwo of the Labour Party, LP, slammed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, over its failure to begin its defence at the presidential election petition tribunal on Monday.

In a post via his Twitter handle, Okonkwo claimed the electoral commission might have had a technical glitch”, leading to the absence of its witnesses.
