The Chief Imam of MarkaZ Ramatulahi, Odota, Ilorin, Sheikh Abdulrahman Adangba, has called for prayer for the nation and its leaders in the quest to have a better Nigeria. Sheikh Adangba also admonished Nigerians to be far from sin, noting that a nation full of unholy acts will always find it difficult to seek the face of God.
Speaking with newsmen after the Eid-el-kabir prayer led by him, the cleric noted that the rate of corruption, injustice and iniquity in the nation is enough to draw the nation back.
While claiming that Nigeria is one of the most blessed nations in the country in terms of human capital, and natural resources, he said it is unfortunate that the people are not making good use of the advantages.
Sheikh Adangba therefore urged Nigerians to live a worthy life and embrace all the teachings of Prophet Muhammad in order to make things right for the nation.
He also called on those in leadership positions to be humane and serve selflessly.
