Faith leaders from various religious backgrounds will gather in Kaduna on May 2, next week for the first-ever Kaduna Interfaith Dialogue (KID).
Organized by Search for Common Ground Nigeria (SFCGN), the event aims to foster peace and understanding among diverse religious communities within the state.
The Kaduna Network of Peace Journalists (NPJ) has launched a media campaign to encourage religious leaders to participate.
According to a statement released on Sunday by NPJ Team Lead Ibrahima Yakubu, KID offers a crucial platform for discussing strategies to prevent and resolve conflicts stemming from ethno-religious tensions.
“This workshop for religious leaders in the state offers a pivotal opportunity to strengthen relations and offer solutions to mitigate future crises related to ethno-religious tensions,” said Yakubu.
