The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Lagos State has said it intends to review the recent ruling by the Appeal Court that affirmed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s victory in the March 18 Governorship Election.
In a statement released in Lagos, the Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Hakeem Amode, expressed the party’s commitment to pursuing all necessary measures within the bounds of the law to uphold democratic principles.
“As a party, we are committed to undertaking a meticulous review of the judgment upon receipt of the Certified True Copy, and subsequently, we will issue precise directives to our legal team,” Amode said.
The PDP spokesperson expressed confidence in the people of Lagos State, asserting that the party remains steadfast in its commitment to serving the populace to the fullest extent.
“We firmly believe that the appropriate avenue for addressing our concerns is through the legal process.”
