Kwara police confirms theft of baby in Ilorin
The Kwara State Police Command has confirmed the unfortunate incident of a woman in the Surulere area of Ilorin metropolis who lost her child to a stranger.
The command warned members of the public against unprofessional recruitment processes.
A statement by the command’s spokesman in Ilorin, SP Okasanmi Ajayi on Monday, said the State Commissioner of Police, Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi has advised employers of labour in the State to always carry out background checks on potential staff they employ.
The commissioner of police further stated that the above-stated case of child theft is being discreetly investigated, and the culprit is being identified regardless of her being anonymous yet.
