Some arms and ammunition seized by the Police Command in Kwara recently after it arrested a truck at Kosubosu, a border town in Baruten Local Government Area of the state.

The state police said a sum of two million, three hundred and fifty thousand naira counterfeit money was recovered and forty thousand litters of stolen PMS recovered and handed over to the owner.

The statement noted that several crimes were also aborted and the perpetrators apprehended within January to April this year.

While assuring members of the public of the Commad’s determination to ensure a peaceful and safe Kwara, the state Police Commissioner called for further cooperation form the public.

He also admonished the media against negative reporting that could jeopardise the force’ effort to enhance peace in the state.
