The Kwara State Police Command has announced the commencement of the screening process for applicants who successfully completed the online registration to join the Nigeria Police Force from January 8th to January 29th, 2024, beginning daily at 7:00 am at the Police Training School (PTS) in Ilorin.
In a statement released by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ejire-Adeyemi Adetoun, applicants are required to adhere strictly to the dress code and must present specific documents arranged in two flat files to qualify for the screening process:
– Evidence of good character from each village/district head of applicants.
– Original and duplicate copies of the certificate of origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
– Original and duplicate copies of the National Identity Card/Slip.
– Original and duplicate copies/declaration of age.
– Printout of the application form.
– A Complete Guarantor’s form duly signed.
– Printout of the Invitation Slip.
– Current passport photographs.According to the statement, failure to present any of these requirements will result in disqualification from the screening process as applicants are urged to conduct themselves appropriately during the exercise.
The Commissioner of Police CP Victor Olaiya emphasized that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge, cautioning applicants against falling victim to online scammers or imposters. He assured the public that the screening will adhere strictly to the professional guidelines of the Force.
