Tax: Government Earns Over Four Hundred Billion Naira From Dangote Cement In Three Years

The Dangote Industries Limited over the weekend said the Dangote Cement Plc paid a total of four hundred and twelve point nine billion naira into the coffers of the Federal Government as tax for three consecutive years.

Vanguard reports that a total of ninety-seven point two-four billion naira was paid by Dangote Cement in 2020, one hundred and seventy-three point nine-three billion naira in 2021 and one hundred and forty-one point six-nine billion naira in 2022.

Dangote advised the government to automate the tax system in the county, while commending the inauguration of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms
