Sudan’s army has revealed that it has detained children who were forced to fight alongside the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the ongoing conflict.
Local media reported that the unspecified number of children is held in Wadi Saidna, northern Khartoum.
Recall that on 15th of September, SAF handed over 30 children who were held as prisoners of war to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The RSF has been repeatedly accused of violating international laws by recruiting minors in the ongoing conflict in Sudan after revealing that over two hundred Sudan army have joined its ranks in Khartoum.
