The Chairman Academic Staff Union of Kwara state college of Education Comrade Yaya Muhammed have appealed to the state governor to review the subvention of the institution.
Comrade Yaya who also doubles as the secretary of Joint Academic Staff Union for Tertiary Institutions made the appeal during the protest by labour unions in Kwara.
While speaking with journalists, comrade Yaya called on the state government to come their aid, stating that staff of the institution have not been paid salaries.
He added that staff of the institution have being feeding on percentage salary since the turn of the year, noting that the salary of the month of May, June and July have not being paid.
