Motorists and Commuters plying the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway have expressed dissatisfaction after spending several hours in traffic following the diversion of traffic Nigeria at New Garage, Ojodu, Berger, Lagos.
Recall that the Public Education Officer, of the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC, Bisi Kazeem, the Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, had earlier on Monday announced the diversion and enjoined the motoring public along the route to exercise maximum patience and cooperate with the law enforcement agencies controlling traffic.
Sharing his experience in traffic along the route, a motorist, Molly Adekoga, who lamented that he spent four hours in traffic from his house at Matokogi area of Magboro, said the contractor was yet to finish the connecting portions near the BRT area at Berger before compounding the traffic woes.
Meanwhile, a commuter, Kamoru Abiodun, lamented lack of supervision from the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, stressing that motorists are tired of failed promises on the completion date.
