Rangers Technical Adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu has said victory over Lobi Stars will boost his team’s confidence.
The Flying Antelopes extended their unbeaten run to six games with the 2-1 victory.
Veteran forward Godwin Obaje and Kingsley Maduforo gave Rangers a 2-0 lead before Samuel Tiza reduced the deficit. Rangers remain in second position on the table with 45 points.
“It was a great fight from both sides but we did our best which I believe gave us the victory we really worked for and we thank God for that,” he said in a post-match interview.
“It was a high-pressure game against one of the best teams in Nigeria and considering their position on the log.
“The victory shows that Rangers are coming up gradually and I am very happy about this win.”
