Men’s cricket World U-19 Cup contenders  expected from tomorrow

Countries taking part in the International Cricket Council (ICC)   Men’s Cricket World Under-19 Cup African Division 2 Qualifier are expected  in Abuja from tomorrow  ahead of the Friday’s  kick off date for the event, even as ICC  General Manager, Development  William Glenwright, General Manager, Development  and Development Manager, Africa are already in the country on a working visit.

The two ICC officials who are in Lagos will also be visiting, Edo State and Abuja in a trip that is tied to the upswing in cricket activities and cricket development index in the country.

The president of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, Uyi Akpata said while the two activities are happening at two separate ends of the country, they are linked.
