Peoples’ Democratic Party Fault Kwara Government Over Deny Palliative Mismanagement

The Kwara state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is calling the attention of well-meaning Kwarans and stakeholders to the mismanagement of palliatives by the Kwara state government.

The party in a statement by the Kwara State PDP Publicity Secretary, Prince ‘Tunji Moronfoye, said the state has not forgotten the horrors of the COVID-19 palliatives distribution by the same government.

Reacting to social media videos where it was witnessed that Adewole ward of Ilorin West local government Area purportedly sharing an amount of rice which would not be enough to feed a family of six, Moronfoye said the party is shocked with the comment of the Chief press secretary to the governor, Mr. Rafiu Ajakaye during a press conference where he said the government will not share a cup of rice, describing the video on social media as ridiculous.

The PDP therefore questioned the distribution of the initial one thousand two hundred bags of rice by the government and also frowned at the Kwara State House of Assembly for not speaking on the matter.
