The Kwara State Police Command has confirmed the assumption of office of CP Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi as the new commissioner of police.
A statement by Police Public Relations Officer, Kwara State Police Command SP Okasanmi Ajayi informed that the new police took over the mantle of headship of the command from the outgoing commissioner of police, who was promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Paul Odama.
CP Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi hails from Sagamu, in the Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.
He was appointed to the Nigeria Police Force on March 3, 1990, as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police.
