The Honorable Minister of Sports Development, John Enoh, on Thursday sent a heartfelt message to the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they prepare to take on Angola in the quarter final of the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire on Friday.
Enoh’s letter congratulated Jose Peseiro’s men on their victory at the round of 16 against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
He also said that Nigerians completely believe in the Super Eagles to make them proud by bringing home the AFCON trophy.
The Minister urged the team to stay the path of victory reminding them that the task is not yet completed.
“You have given a good account of yourselves so far, let me quickly remind you that the job is not yet done, and will be done when you bring the highly sought after trophy back home as worthy African Champions.”
