Kwara state police public relations officer launches book -memoir of police image maker

The Kwara state police public relations officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi on Wednesday had the public presentation and launching of a book- memoir of police image maker at the banquet hall, Ilorin.

Okasanmi, while highlighting the inspiration behind the publication of the book, said it is an experience from his humble beginning relating to the possible activities and relationship of the police in Kwara state and the society.

The State commissioner of Police, who was also the chief host of the event, CP Victor Olaiya, called on the people in the society to always appreciate the police force.

In the book review, Dr. Rasaq Adisa, said the book will address the best way to write press releases which makes the book priceless and an asset to the society.

The event was graced by dignitaries from all spheres of life including the Chairman of the Day, Mallam Yusuf Alli ably represented by Mr Yakub Daudu, Royal Fathers, olomuran of Omu Aran, Jagunmolu of Igbomina land, Arogundade of Lagos, Baba oba of offa, the state Governor among others.

Highlights of the event include citation on the author, musical interlude by police band, Cultural Display, Goodwill messages, Presentation and Launching of books, among others.
