The Kwara State Supervising Commissioner for Youth Development, Honorable Yunusa Lade on Saturday emphasized the need to shun drug abuse and vices among the youth, stressing that the abuse and usage is a menace that is affecting the state negatively.
This was contained in a statement released by the Ministry’s Press Secretary, Oluwafemi Samuel Adeoye, in which the Honorable reiterated the need for parents and guardians to work collectively with the state government to eradicate drug abuse by giving proper training and preaching morality and sanctity to their wards.
Honorable Lade stressed that there is a need to come together with relevant stakeholders to fight against drug abuse social menace and reiterated the Kwara State Government’s commitment to eradicating drug abuse among youths in the state.
