The Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Arinde, has called on parents and guardians to disregard the rumours of tuition fees hike across tertiary institutions in the state.
Arinde emphasised that the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration was doing everything possible to lessen the burden on all and sundry, as part of measures to cushion the effects of the present economic hardships.
This was contained in a statement released by the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Mansurat Amuda-kannike, in which the commissioner maintained that there would be no form of increment in tuition fees whatsoever in all tertiary institutions in the state.
