President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, was summoned by the federal House of Representatives over the spate of killings in Benue state and other parts of the country, PREMIUM Times report.
The decision to summon the President was unanimously welcomed by a majority of members after a Kano lawmaker, Baballe Bashir moved for the amendment of a motion moved by Benue State lawmaker, Mark Gbilah.
It was learnt that the Reps members also resolved to suspend its plenary for three days (one week) in solidarity with victims of attacks across the country.
