Jose Peseiro Blames ‘Bad Luck’ For Super Eagles Draw Against Lesotho

Jose Peseiro Blames ‘Bad Luck’ For Super Eagles Draw Against Lesotho

Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has blamed ”bad luck” for Nigeria’s draw against Lesotho.

The three-time African champions held Lesotho to a 1-1 draw at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, after Semi Ajayi equalised the visitors’ 56th minute goal with a header 11 minutes later.

Peseiro emphasized that the team had more ball possession and they created enough chances to win the game, but they were unable to capitalise on them and record a victory.

The Super Eagles will now focus on Sunday’s matchday two clash against the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Huye Stadium in Butare.
