Ignore False Story from Fake Group, Says Saraki’s Aide

An aide to former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, has described as false, unfounded, and irresponsible a statement issued by a pseudo group called Ilorin Project Advancement Initiative (IPAI).

It could be recalled that the Ilorin Project Advancement Initiative alleged that Dr. Bukola Saraki was planning to disrespect the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari.

Abdulqadir who faulted the statement noted that it lacked logic, as the claim was not based on any reasonable point. The statement also clarified that the former Senate President is a son of the Emir and relates with the Emir like his father, with respect and reverence and such, will not involve the Emir in his politics.

Abddulqadir alleged that the Kwara state governor is using names of revered traditional rulers to play politics and peddling his influence to compel endorsement from royal fathers.

He further alleged that the governor summons traditional rulers to Ilorin to prevent politicians in opposing parties to pay courtesy visits to them when they go to campaign in their domains.
