Hajj: Kwara Refunds Over One hundred Million To Two Thousand Three Hundred Pilgrims

The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, on Monday, commenced the refund of one hundred and eighty-four million naira to two thousand, three hundred pilgrims that performed this year’s hajj exercise from the state.

According to the Leadership, the commencement of the payment followed the approval for the release of one hundred and eighty-four million naira by the state governor, AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq.

It was stated that the beneficiaries of the refunds were the pilgrims that paid the sum of three million naira as hajj fare for the just-concluded pilgrimage exercise to Saudi Arabia.

The executive secretary of the State Pilgrims Board, Alh. AbdulSalam Abdulkadir, who appreciated the state government for the timely release of the fund, urged the concerned pilgrims to come to the board’s office with their original receipts for the collection of their eighty thousand naira refund.
