The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has assured Nigerians that the twenty-seven point five trillion naira 2024 budget presented by President Bola Tinubu to the National Assembly will mark the beginning of the transformation in the country once it is passed by the federal lawmakers.
He gave the assurance while speaking at the 2023 annual public lecture of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) over the weekend in Kaduna State.
Idris explained that the proposed budget signifies a pivotal step towards the realization of President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda which aligns fiscal strategies and priorities with broader national development objectives.
“President Tinubu’s administration recognizes the importance of economic stability. As the 2024 appropriation bill moves through the legislative process, we are very optimistic that its passage will mark the beginning of a transformative era, bringing tangible improvements to the lives of Nigerians,” Idris said.
