European Union calls on Nigeria youths to avoid vote selling

Ahead of the 2023 General Election, the European Union has urged Nigerian youths to avoid selling their votes to produce a credible candidate for the nation.

Ambassador of the European Union in Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African State (ECOWAS) Samuela Isopi, made the call during a Youth Vote Count concert in Abuja.

Speaking to the youths, Isopi assured them that their votes will count and make a difference, saying Nigerian youths have the power to drive positive change.

She, however, assured the Nigerian youths that the European Union will stand by them and all Nigerians during the General Elections to make Nigeria’s democracy stronger.
