Southeast Govs meet over insecurity

The five Southeast Governors are meeting in Enugu State to discuss the deteriorating insecurity situation in the region.

The Governors, it was gathered, would after their meeting, welcome the nation’s service chiefs for an expanded security meeting.

The meeting commenced around 1:30 pm with all the Governors in attendance.

The host Governor Peter Mbah received them at the Government House, Lion Building, Enugu.

This is the first first time all elected Governors in the region would be meeting without sending representatives.

The nation reports that Those in attendance are Govs Hope Uzodimma (Imo); Chukwuma Soludo (Anambra); Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi); Alex Otti ( Abia) and Mbah (Enugu).
