Kwara Govt conducts free breast, cervical cancer screening in LGAs

Kwara State Government in partnership with Monitor HealthCare Limited will conduct a free Breast and Cervical Cancer screening across the sixteen Local Government Areas in Kwara state.

The exercise starts on Wednesday, February 12 till  February 22, 2020.

The state government is adopting a more proactive measure in order to reduce the rate of women susceptible to breast and cervical cancer, a disease that is on the increase and threatening the life span among the womenfolk.

In tune with international standards, the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led government is collaborating with experts in the field to ensure people suffering from the disease are provided with the necessary health care as early discovery of the disease could assist in its treatment and save many lives.
