CAN advocates inclusive governance along all ethno-religious groups in Kwara , says Christians will vote politicians that value Christians

The Kwara Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has said there is the need for inclusive governance among all ethno-religious groups in the state.

The association made this known at a stakeholder dialogue with Gubernatorial candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Alhaji Yakubu Gobir at the CAN headquarters in Ilorin.

Speaking at the forum the Chairman Kwara State CAN, Right Reverend Sunday Timothy Adewole said, Christians are mostly disregarded as a minority, saying only Gobir and the YPP at instance are the only political players to consult CAN in the run-up to the 2023 elections.

In his response, Royal Times reports that the gubernatorial candidate of YPP. Alhaji Yakub Gobir congratulated the body on the inauguration of its new Executive Council, while reiterating his commitment towards a Kwara that prioritizes inclusiveness.
