Fake Obi-Oyedepo Audio To Cause Religious Tension Won’t Save You, Labour Party Tells APC

Fake Obi-Oyedepo Audio To Cause Religious Tension Won’t Save You, Labour Party Tells APC

The opposition Labour Party (LP) has said that the viral fake audio clip of a conversation between its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, was meant to cause religious tension in Nigeria.

LP, however, said that the plan will not save the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from drowning. According to the Labour Party, the APC’s endless subterfuge must stop.

Leadership newspaper reports that a statement issued by Head, Obi-Datti Media, Diran Onifade, on Sunday, said it appeared the APC’s desperation to grab and retain power by foul means has refused to go away more than a month after it has allegedly grabbed the election as planned.
