United Demanding Too Much From Hojlund, says Shearer

United Demanding Too Much From Hojlund, says Shearer

Former England captain and Premier League record goalscorer Alan Shearer has said that Manchester United are demanding too much from Rasmus Hojlund.

Shearer believes that United should use Hojlund as a substitute and that although there is a goal-scorer in the player, the club should have a big hitter to take the pressure off the youngster.

“He should be one that is in, then out, using him as a substitute and starting him here and there. They should have a big hitter in there so I do have a bit of sympathy for him.

“I do see that there is a potential goal-scorer in there. He will be having sleepless nights because of what is happening in front of goal in the Premier League,” he said.

Meanwhile, Hojlund is currently out with a hamstring injury, and his return is not expected until the end of the month.
