The Supreme Court has scheduled next Monday, 23 October, to hear three appeals challenging the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Court affirming President Bola Tinubu’s election.
The court’s registrar, Zainab Garba, on Thursday, issued the hearing notice seen by PREMIUM TIMES.
The appellants – Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Labour Party’s Peter Obi, and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) – filed their appeals urging the Supreme Court to nullify the presidential election court’s decision which upheld Mr Tinubu’s victory on 6 September.
The Supreme Court Registrar, Zainab Garba, in a notice issued to the parties on Thursday, disclosed that the hearing proceedings in Atiku’s appeal would take place before the Supreme Court sitting in Abuja on October 23.
