Saudi Authority Announces Tuesday, June 27 Arafat Day

The Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court on Sunday (June 18,2023) announced that the rites of standing on the plain/mount of Arafat, which marks the climax of the annual pilgrimage of Hajj, will be on Tuesday, June 27.

With this announcement, the first day of Eid Al-Adha will be Wednesday June 28, after the Crescent for the month of Dhul Hijjah 1444 was sighted on Sunday.

Subsequently today, Monday, June 19, 2023, will be the first day of Dhul Hijjah 1444.
