Post Election: Ilorin Emirate Council drums support for NOA’s Peacebuilding campaign
In a bid to ensure sustained peace and cooperation of all in building the nation of our dreams, residents and people of Kwara State have been admonished to rise above political affiliation and work towards national development.
Giving the admonition was Mr Olusegun Adeyemi the NOA Kwara State Director in company of Management members of the Agency at Emir’s Palace Ilorin.
Adeyemi stated that even though election is over, NOA continues to advocate for peace through  critical stakeholders especially traditional and religious leaders because governance is more important than winning an election.
Addressing the Ilorin Emirate Council, led by Alhaji Mohammed Aliyu the Balogun Gambari, Adeyemi appealed to the traditional leaders to continue mobilizing the public on peace building especially as we await the inauguration of a new government.
He added that irrespective of individuals’ party affiliation, Nigeria is greater than all, a message traditional leaders must keep reiterating.
The Balogun Gambari speaking on behalf of the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR commended NOA for the peace building effort.
