Super Eagles defender, Zaidu Sanusi, is in a joyous mood after winning both the Primeira Liga and Taça de Portugal with FC Porto this past season.
Sanusi played a crucial role in FC Porto clinching the league title in Portugal. Also, the player scored a last gasp goal against rivals Benfica earlier this month to help his club win their 30th league title, with the effort being his third of the season.
However, the left-back also helped the club complete a double trophy winning on Sunday when his team FC Porto defeated Tondelo FC in the Portuguese Cup.
The Dragons silenced Tondela 3-1 at Estadio Nacional in Oeiras and again, the Nigerian was in the thick of the action, playing for a full 90 minutes in the match.
Celebrating the feat in the just-concluded season, Sanusi, as took to his social media, handles to express his delight and happiness in the achievement.
In his word he said on his social media page “What a magical way to end the season; big team effort alhamdulillah Masha Allah Vamos @fcporto,”.
Zaidu Sanusi made 40 appearances for FC Porto in the 2021/22 season and netted three times.
He’s among the players called upon to represent the Super Eagles National team of Nigeria in an international friendly against Mexico and Ecuador in the united state of America.
