In a bid to tackle the nation’s housing challenge, the Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially launched the Renewed Hope Cities and Estates Programme, aimed at constructing one hundred thousand Housing Units nationwide.
The launch took place on Thursday, at Karsana in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, and the Pilot Site of the Programme with over three thousand Housing Units.
President Tinubu expressed the determination of his administration to bridge Nigeria’s housing deficit with boldness and urgency it requires, emphasizing his vision to build dynamic, integrated, and self-sustaining communities, with equipped amenities to enhance the quality of living for residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
Further expressing his commitment to provide decent and affordable housing for Nigerians, President Tinubu gave assurance to his administration to provide integrated living communities that will redefine the essence of residential living for Nigerians nationwide.
“We aim to promote Public Private Partnership (PPP) collaborations that attract domestic, foreign, and diaspora investments. We also aim to design and implement incentive schemes, boost our capital market while enhancing the governance and risk management frameworks to ensure their stability, transparency and integrity.” He said.
