President Buhari arrives Kaduna, to meet religious leaders, others

President Mohammadu Buhari has arrived Kaduna State. He was received by the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, at the Air Force Base in the state this morning.President Buhari will be meeting with stakeholders and traditional rulers over the recent violence that has been affecting the state in recent times.

Already, religious and traditional leaders have arrived  the popular Murtala Square, the venue of the meeting even as security has been heavily beefed up with both plain and uniform operatives.

The State has witnessed renewed crisis as a result of the gruesome murder of the paramount ruler of the Adara, the AgomAdara, Dr MaiwadaGaladima, by kidnappers.

The traditional ruler was said to had been shot “immediately the ransom was delivered to the kidnappers” at a point that they chose. The development later triggered fresh violence despite security deployments and curfew declared in the state.
