Peoples Democratic Party Debunks Rumours Of Osun Governor Planning To Switch To All Progressives Congress

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has denied rumours that the governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke is planning to dump the party ahead of the March 11 House of Assembly election.

In a statement signed by its Osun Caretaker Chairman, Dr Adekunle Akindele, on Friday, the party dismissed the rumour being spread on social media as fallacious and cheap lies. The party claimed the rumour emanated from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC)

While calling on Osun voters to troop out en masse and vote PDP candidates on March 11, the party added that Governor Adeleke remains ever committed to the PDP as evidently demonstrated in the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

It stressed that the PDP will repeat the same feat on March 11th by clearing all the twenty-six assembly seats in the state.
