Oseloka Obaze wins Anambra PDP governorship ticket

Former Secretary to the Anambra state government, Oseloka Obaze, has emerged winner of PDP governorship primary in Anambra State.

Obaze polled a total of 672 votes to beat his closest rival, Alex Obi-Ogbolu who scored 190 votes while the third candidate, Ifeanyi Ubah, polled 94 votes at the party primary election which held yesterday.

A total of 958 party delegates participated in the election.

Six aspirants had indicated interest to battle for the Anambra PDP governorship ticket, but three others, Stella Oduah, John Emeka and Linda Ikpeazu, dropped before the process began.
