A public health expert in Kwara state, Dr Tijani Abdulrasheed, has warned Kwarans to desist from unclean cooking means that could endanger their health.
It could be recalled that RoyalFM, in a recent report, revealed that Kwarans have switched to the use of charcoal and other unclean cooking means due to the hike in the price of cooking gas.
Speaking exclusively to Royal FM, Dr. Abdul-Rasheed Tijani,
A Public Health Physician, Department of Epidemiology and Community, in the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Dr. Tijani said that the use of unclean energy sources like charcoal, firewood, or sawdust result in air pollution and consequently lead to various diseases.
