New Air force Commander, Kwara pays courtesy visit to Customs Area Controller

The newly posted Commander 303 Medium Airlift Group, Nigerian Air Force, Ilorin Kwara State, Air Commodore I. V Ajiboye paid a courtesy visit to the Customs Area Controller, Kwara Area Command Compt. Hussaini Bello Ahmed fsi during the week.

The Air Commodore visited him in his office at the State Customs office, Ilorin, Kwara state capital.

In his opening remarks, the Commodore I. V Ajiboye said Nigerian Air Force had long standing relationship and understanding between Nigeria Customs Service and Nigerian Air Force and expressed desire to further promote the cordial relationship between the two sister agencies. He expressed his pleasure at the warm reception accorded him and his entourage.

The Commodore stressed further that Nigeria Customs Service is now a live wire of the country’s economy in terms of revenue generation despite Covid- 19 that comes with lockdown

While responding to Air Commodore remarks, the Customs Area Controller congratulated him on his appointment and promised to sustain the usual cooperation between the agencies and assured to strengthen the collaboration and cited the recent involvement of some Air Force personnel that apprehended suspected smuggled vehicles and handed them over to the Command.

He concluded and reiterated that the existing relationship between Customs and Air Force will continue to wax stronger as we all working towards the same goal of securing the nation.
