Lagos ports expect Thirty-two ships laden with petrol, others

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Friday said it was expecting thirty-two ships with petroleum products, food and other goods from Sept. 7 to Sept. 22 at the Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.

NPA said ten ships would sail in with petrol, while the remaining twenty-two would bring bulk wheat, frozen fish, general cargo, base oil, diesel, bulk fertiliser and containers carrying various goods.

The authority also said fourteen ships carrying bulk fertiliser, buckwheat, soya beans, container and petrol, had arrived at the ports and were waiting to berth.
